Match report Harrow lost a game that they had been poised to win after a batting collapse that saw them go from 50-0 to 100-6 in pursuit of a gettable 220 against Winchmore Hill.
Fielding first the harrow bowlers showed great discipline to restrict Winchmore Hill to 219-7 off 51 overs, with Ajay Patdiwala the pick of the bowlers taking 3-67. On a good batting pitch the total should have been reachable, especially after openers Hussain (41) and Walker (27) put on a comfortable 50 opening partnership in only 10 overs. But the middle order failed to cope with the Winchmore Hill offspinners who took 7 wickets between them, and despite a rousing 9th wicket partnership of 50 between Tushaar Karia and Amit Shah, Harrow were left to rue a period of 10 overs batting that effectively cost them the game.
