Harrow bounced back from the disappointing performance on Saturday with a record breaking performance on Sunday in the Conference Cup at High Wycombe. A cup club record 1st XI opening partnership of 300 between Dave Walker (161) and Waqas Hussein (120) laid the foundations. Both openers batted superbly by flaying the bowling to all parts and not allowing any loose balls to go unpunished. A very quick and enterprising 48 from Tushaar Karia kept the momentum going as Harrow racked up a club record 414-7 off their 45 over’s.

In reply the Harrow bowlers kept their nerve and kept the pressure on the High Wycombe batsman as the run rate required quickly reached ungettable proportions. A fine spell from Clint Wolverson (3-29) effectively settled the tie, and with Tushaar Karia (3-27) and Farrukh Choudhry (2-25) also bowling well, Harrow ran out winners by 155 runs.
