Match report Harrow won a crucial toss on Saturday and in dampish conditions put Shepherds Bush in to bat. The match was delayd by an hour, and 9 overs lost as the pitch had to be given time to dry out. A good opening spell by Darren Crook (2-24) and some tight bowling from Ajay Patdiwala (2-58) meant that it took Shepherds Bush until the 33rd over to reach 100-3. However as the sun came out and conditions eased batting became more comfortabl and at 167-4 off 43 overs it look as though Harrow might have to chase a score in excess of 220. It was thanks mainly to a fine return spell at the death from Waqas Hussain(3-58) that ensured the Shepherds Bush innings stuttered to 202-8 off 50 overs.

In reply an opening partnership of 90 between Hussain (70) and Walker(54)got Harrow off to the perfect start. Then a fine cameo from Patdiwala (35 not out off 22 balls) combined with Vosloo to knock off the final 37 runs in 4 overs to ease any nerves. The win takes Harrow to within 6 points of second placed Shepherds Bush as the fight for promotion starts to heat up.
