Match report A comfortable victory at North Middlesex ensured that for the second year running Harrow have reached the semi final of the Middlesex Cup. Another 150 run opening partnership between Waqas Hussain (126) and Dave Walker (66) was the foundation for Harrow’s imposing total of 309-8 off their 45 overs. For Hussain it was his second hundred of the weekend, and featured his usual array of shot making – the ball barely passed his bat the entire innings – and batting was made to look easy.

He capped a fine all round performance by then taking three of the first four wickets to help reduce North Middlesex to 45-4. With Clint Wolverson (2-30) taking two important middle order wickets, the game looked over at 120-7. But a fine eighth wicket partnership of 100 between Holmes (77) and Nicoll (47) gave North Middlesex hope. Once again young Kirit Mohane proved Mr Dependable as he took 3-51 to finish off the innings.
