Match report Another close finish where we just couldn't get over the line, losing by 4 runs.

Bowling in very difficult conditions, rain and drizzle for the most part, the bowlers did an excellent job bowling with a ball which was effectively a bar of soap. Standout performance behind the stumps from Luke who was doing it for the first time, taking a stumping, catch and run out! Zuhair's ground fielding was exceptional, stopping the ball whenever hit really hard at him.

Chasing 115 to win, our lack of batting depth was shown up today. Whilst we have taken on board the lessons of winter training with our bowling - very few wides bowled - our batting still looks some way short of where it needs to be. To many dot balls and a lack of footwork being the main problems. We got close thanks to Devesh and Luke who put on a really spirited partnership in the last 5 overs, but the earlier batsmen used up too many dot balls and left them with too much to do.
