Match report Harrow lost the toss and Stanmore put us into bat. Nathan and Niam opened the batting on a Astro pitch with three very small boundaries, so we were looking for a score around 160-170. But we didn't try to take advantage of the small boundaries and that resulted in the loss of the vital wicket of Nathan late in the first over as he tried to get a single to a ball that should have been put away. After that we decided to go back to our old ways of groundhogging and playing safe. In the 11th over we lost the wicket of Niam. Syan and Kavidu then found themselves accelerating to a point, but still not enough. Harrow soon found themselves 101-3 off 15 overs when we lost the wicket of Syan (47 off 54 balls). Harrow then found themselves one more down the next ball as the wicket of the new batsmen (Dylan) was taken from a bowler that should have been targeted more. Arjun Rajkumar came in at number 6 and hit the best shot of the season, smashing it into the fence straight down the ground. He played for the team like always. After Kavidu's 33 off 27 balls and Arjun's 14 off 15 balls, Harrow eased themselves to 143.

Harrow opened their bowling attack with Arjun Rajkumar who was searching for a wicket from the start and a wicket he took after great sportsmanship from the skipper of Stanmore (Taran) who walked after being given not out by the Harrow umpire. We then found Stanmore 13-2 after Rahul Panditha bowled a yorker wiping out the number 2 batsmen. After the deadly opening attack, Harrow started bowling too short making it easy for the Stanmore batsmen. Their number 4 changed the game immensely by pulling anything short for 6 and making 45 off 25 balls. Rahul came back for another over getting their number 4 out after a brilliant catch by Niam. For the rest of the game Harrow continued bowling this short rubbish. They kept hitting to the small boundaries and we kept bowling it there, letting Stanmore win a game that we should have won.
