Match report Harrow made it two wins out of three in the Sunday Chess Valley League with a comprehensive win against Abbotts Langley. Batting first they got off to the perfect start with openers Morris (48) and Bhupal (36) putting on 85 for the first wicket in 16 overs. Then it was left to Luke Quinliven with a graceful 78 and Ahmed Zarrar with a purposeful 30 to combine in the middle order to ensure that Harrow would post a competitive total. A 10 ball 28 not out from Clint Wolverson provided the late impetus, as he hit 3 big sixes off the last over and Harrow finished on 271-6 off their 45 overs.

In reply, an early burst from Clint Wolversen (3-43) denied Abbotts Langley the kind of the start they would have needed to chase such a big score. The spinners chipped in with regular wickets and Abbotts Langley finished well short, bowled out for 162 in the penultimate over.
