About Us
Harrow Cricket Club Cricket Club was founded in 1888, and is situated on Wood End Road in Harrow, Middlesex. HCC runs 3 XI's in the Saturday Middlesex County Cricket League (http://www.middlesexccl.co.uk/)
and 2 XI's in the Chess Valley Sunday League.
The 2010 season will see the 1st XI playing in the MCCL 2nd Division. The 2nd XI will play in the MCCL 2nd Division; and the 3rd XI will play in the MCCL 2nd Division.
On Sunday's we will have 2 XI's playing in the CVL.
HCC also fields league and friendly teams on Sundays, in Twenty20 competitions, and in indoor leagues over the Winter.
As well as a Senior Section, HCC has a very strong Colts Section. In 2008 the U11’s were crowned Middlesex Cup Winners for their age group. Colts age groups range from U10's through to U17's. Many Colts at HCC also represent the Senior Section of The Club.
We are currently an ECB Clubmark accredited club.
This is awarded to cricket clubs by the England and Wales
Cricket Board when the cricket club is able to demonstrate that it meets the ECB Clubmark criteria across four areas: Duty of
Care and Safeguarding Children; the Cricket Programme the club offers, Sports Equity and Ethics and Club Management. ECB Clubmark is an acknowledgement that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in cricket.
All are welcome at "The Folly". As well as excellent cricket facilities, our clubhouse has an excellent bar (including Sky Sports), and function facilities that are open all year.
