Match report A few old favourites turned up to strengthen our Presidents XI as we welcomed back James Overy,Tom Brockton, Del Terblance & Shani Kamalia. The Presidents XI batted first & they could only manage 215 on a good batting track. Tom Brockton returned in fine style with a cavalier 21 scored in quick time (for Tom anyway), James Overy added a fluent 39. It was left to Shani Kamalia (35) & Richard Bennison (33) to move the score along with a solid partnership. Skipper Graeme Overy added a scorching 19 to help the score along to 215.

After along & delicious tea which didn’t help the Presidents XI in the field the Harrow XI set about their run chase in front of a packed Payne’s Folly crowd. Three young Harrow players performed with the bat to see Harrow home as the crowd went wild as Harrow won back the Presidents Cup. Ed Bennison (46), Vikash Seth (48) & skipper Darren Crook (55) not out. We also welcomed Luke Macumber from our sister club Airport West St Christopher in Melbourne who played in our Harrow XI.

Celebrations carried on late in the night.
