The main outfield has now been cut and the ground, whilst damp, is finally beginning to dry. Assuming there is no more rain, the training sessions from Tuesday 18th onwards will be taking place.
Remember, if a session is cancelled a notice will appear in the news ticker on the homepage no later than 1 hour before the start of the session. If there is no cancellation notice, assume the session is going ahead.
Pitches are not ready yet and there will be no home matches playable this week and likely none next week either. The squares still need to be rolled several times until they become firmer. Only then can pitches start to be cut.
Finally, it is very cold some evenings, so if coming to training please wear appropriate warm clothing (hoodie etc) - do not send children dressed in tee-shirts. There is no need to wear whites for training, warm jogging bottoms and hoodies are more suitable.
