Winter Groups
How To Take Part in Winter Training

The winter training groups are organised by age group & ability. During the summer all members who fit within the age and ability criteria for these groups will be given an invite to attend winter training. All places are offered on a first come first served basis. This invitation usually goes out in early August.

For those who are not members but interested in the winter programme, subject to availability we organise a session at the club during the first week of September. At this session we gauge age and ability level with a view to offering them places on the winter programme.

By the second week of September the winter programme is almost always full. There is a fixed limit on how many players we can take for each group. The exact size of a group varies depending on whether it's hardball or softball.

If you are not an existing member, but are interested in joining us for the winter programme, the procedure is the same as for summer, please complete the relevant new player enquiry form for boys or girls.
